Hunting Leases, Retriever Training and Puppies
Fowl Water Outdoors partners with landowners to bring hunters access to high quality land around the city of Des Moines. To be a hunter takes commitment, passion and time. We know that diehard hunters like you, need to be out on the land. You have to watch how the animals move in the morning and evening. Fowl Water Outdoors offers land close enough to the city to make it possible for you to spend time there but far enough away that it remains a hotbed for game.
Alongside our commitment to your hunting ground, we are a full-service retriever training kennel that selectively breeds Labrador Retrievers. There’s nothing quite like watching man’s best friend grow and learn to appreciate waterfowl. We dedicate our time to starting the dog so they can work alongside you while you hunt. We want them to enjoy hunting as much as you, becoming an asset in the field.
Leasing Hunting Ground from Fowl Water Outdoors
Successful hunts are the result of dedicated scouting and a thorough understanding of your land. Trail cams and food plots can give you the inside access you need for a killer hunt. But let’s be honest, these things take time and effort. As does making sure trespassers aren’t taking down your prized buck. This is why Fowl Water Outdoors offers these services to all its hunters.
Pay for and Post Signs
Monitor Property
Handle Trespassers
Maintain Open Communication with Farmers
If you need it, we’ll be the extra hand to install and manage food plots, pull trail cam cards, post signs and handle trespassers. We’ve built relationships with property owners and the families who farm the land. They understand the benefit of having a business communicate expectations, rules and requests between both parties. With these partnerships, hunters have been able to successfully request for crops to be left in and farmers have offered up more farmland hunting ground.
Fowl Water Retriever Training
Fowl Water Outdoors takes hunting seriously. We believe hunting is a way life, not a hobby. It’s why we’ve dedicated our lives to building everything we need for a successful hunt into the foundation of this company:
A private duck club of expert hunters
Tens of thousands of leased hunting acres across Iowa
Consistent and dependable duck hunting dogs trained in our program
Better Waterfowl Hunting Dogs
A correctly trained retriever sets the tone for an exciting and rewarding hunt. Hunting dogs trained at Fowl Water Outdoors are given individual attention geared toward the dogs’ personality, strengths and weaknesses. We train hardworking duck dogs to love the challenge of the retrieve as much as you love the hunt. If you’re not sure what you want in a training program, we’ve outlined some basic steps for how to choose a professional waterfowl hunting dog trainer.
